Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using BetCaddy, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to use BetCaddy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
About the service
BetCaddy is a golf game tracking and social bet tracking tool operated by Bloomcode AB, Sweden. It lets you create rounds, invite friends, track bets and side games, and record settlement results.
BetCaddy is not a gambling service.
We do not process, hold, or facilitate any monetary transactions. Links to external payment apps are user-initiated convenience features only. The service may be updated or modified at any time.
Your account
Account responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when creating an account
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- One account per person
- Notify us of suspected unauthorized access
Acceptable use
You agree not to: access other users' data without authorization, interfere with service operation, use automated tools or scrapers, impersonate others, use the service for illegal purposes, or use the service commercially without our written permission.
Betting and payments
BetCaddy is a scorecard and tracking tool only. All bets tracked within BetCaddy are informal, private arrangements between individuals. BetCaddy has no knowledge of, involvement in, or liability for any money exchanged between users.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring their activities comply with applicable local laws regarding social betting. Payment app links are convenience features — we do not process, hold, verify, or guarantee any transactions conducted through external apps.
Your content and data
You retain ownership of the data you create within BetCaddy. By using the service, you grant Bloomcode AB a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the service. You may export or delete your data at any time through account settings or by contacting us.
Intellectual property
The BetCaddy name, logo, and service design are the intellectual property of Bloomcode AB. You may not use our branding without written permission. Open-source components used within BetCaddy retain their respective licenses.
Liability
Service availability
BetCaddy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features or the entire service at any time without prior notice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloomcode AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BetCaddy, including data loss, service interruptions, disputes between users, financial losses from bets, or actions taken by third-party payment apps. BetCaddy is a free service — our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to use the service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bloomcode AB and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or your bets and financial arrangements with other users.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Legal
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice. Continued use of BetCaddy after changes constitutes acceptance.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions continue in full force.
